Delivery Information

We dispatch all orders (within Great Britain) using an overnight courier service*. However due to the seasonal volumes we are unable to guarantee a next day delivery service.

Standard Delivery Details – £5.99 for all orders under £90*

We aim to deliver all orders in 5-7 working days. To enable us to achieve this we will require all engraving information within 48 hours after the order date. We hold huge stocks, but on occasion some items will be out of stock which may delay delivery. If this is the case you will be notified immediately. Please note during busy periods some basic self-assembly may be required.

Express Delivery Details

We aim to deliver all express delivery orders in 3 to 5 working days. To enable us to achieve this we require all engraving details within 12 hours of the order being completed online. We hold huge stocks, but on occasion, some items will be out of stock which may delay delivery. If this is the case you will be notified immediately. Please note during busy periods some basic self-assembly may be required.

European Delivery Details

If you are having your trophies delivered on our European delivery service please note that the price quoted is based on your order fitting into 1 x 10kg box. If your trophies need us to use additional boxes or a pallet we will contact you to discuss delivery methods.

Delivery times vary depending on the country you are in but we aim for you to receive your order within 15 working days. If your order is more urgent than this then please email us as we can discuss using an express delivery service.

Customs policies vary from country to country. All applicable fees, taxes and duties are your responsibility.

How will your Trophies be Delivered?

We will use Fedex or DPD to deliver your awards to you. Both these carriers have online tracking systems which allow us to track your parcel every step of the way. Both will require someone to be in at the delivery address and will require a signature to confirm receipt. All deliveries are made between Monday and Friday between 8am – 5pm. You will be left a card by the carrier company if you are not in to take the delivery. This card will give you details on how you can re arrange the delivery or where you can collect the parcel from.

Morning and Saturday deliveries are available on special request but will be liable to a surcharge. To arrange a morning delivery or Saturday delivery please call 01622 738711 or email [email protected] before placing your order.

All the delivery information above is only applicable on orders placed through our website, orders placed outside of the website may incur different delivery charges.

*Some postcode areas will incur a delivery surcharge due to their location. Overnight service is not available in some areas. We will contact you if either of these details affect your order.

FREE engraving on all our Trophies, Cups, Glass & Crystal

We offer FREE engraving/personalisation on all our Trophies, Cups, Glass & Crystal. All our prices include up to 50 characters free on all trophies and include free LOGO engraving and text on all our glass and crystal plaques and Tableware. Free LOGO engraving and text is also available on all our Nickel and Silver plated cup ranges.

Please note that depending on how busy we are at certain points of the year we may decide not to engrave your text and instead will print your engraving onto the plate. Reference to the below image, the top two plates are machine engraved, whereas the bottom two are sublimate printed. **If you wish to have your plate either physically engraved or printed then please specify this on the order notes at the checkout.**

Remember all trophies come with a free generic centre to match the sport the trophy is for. If you would like your trophies to come with your own club badge please visit our bespoke centres page.

How we engrave your awards:

  • All trophies will come with an engraved or sublimated metal plate
  • Silver and Nickel plated cups can come with your own logo and wording engraved onto the body of the cup
  • All Tableware, glass and crystal plaques can come with your own logo and wording engraved into the glass.
Artwork requirements for glass and cup engraving

Please note that if you require a logo on any glass or crystal award we require your logo sent to us in a high resolution BLACK & WHITE jpeg via email. We cannot engrave coloured logo's onto glass or grey scaled images, they must be pure black and white. If you do not have artwork in this 'ready to go' format then we can re draw the artwork but there will be an additional charge.

Artwork Proofing 

We will supply a proof for your approval free of charge. If required, you can amend your proof twice, free of charge. Any additional amends thereafter will be charged at £9.99 incl. VAT each. Payment must be received before your goods are despatched. Any artwork/ proofing errors on our part will not be chargeable.

We will email your artwork proof before production begins. Please respond to your proof within 24 hours upon receipt. Proofs that are not approved/responded to in writing within 24 hours may incur a delay to your delivery date. If your order has a time critical delivery deadline, please ensure you communicate in your email response, and we will endeavour to achieve this for you.

Approval of the artwork proof is your final acceptance to proceed. Aford Awards will not be responsible for costs related to incorrect engraving or printing. The customer will be liable for all costs, including product, delivery and engraving or printing.

Orders cancelled after a proof has been submitted will be charged at £9.99 incl. VAT to cover artwork costs.

Our price Promise

We check our prices every day so we are confident we have the lowest prices anywhere in the Awards market. If however you do find one of our awards available for cheaper elsewhere please let us know by calling our office on 01622 738711 or by emailing us, telling us the product code and where you have seen it cheaper. We will then not only match the price, but we'll beat it by 5%.

Our Quantity Discounts Explained

We like to offer discounts in proportion to the quantity of products you buy and this is resembled in our quantity discounts. On the majority of our products if you order;

  • 1 to 4 items you will be receiving approximately 5 to 10% discount from RRP.
  • 5 or more products you will be receiving 15 to 25% discount from RRP
  • 20 or more products you will be receiving between 25% to 40% discount from RRP.
  • 50 or more products you will be receiving over 40% discount from RRP.

PLEASE NOTE If you are ordering more than 20 items which are not all the same product or your order is likely to be over £500 then please call us on 01622 738711 or email us and we can give you a special quote.

Remember all our prices include personalisation and FREE delivery if you spend over £90.

*Price match and Price beat guarantee only available for matching products with identical additions. Proof of a lower price will be required and the lower price needs to have been found within 7 days of the price match request.

Next Working Day Delivery

Aford Awards are pleased to offer a range of personalised products for Next Working Day Delivery.

Providing the items in your basket are marked eligible for Next Working Day Delivery, and your order is placed before 12 noon, we will engrave and despatch your items for delivery the following working day. Please select the Next Working Day option for £14.99 at checkout. Aford will guarantee to despatch the order the same working day via DPD or FedEx but cannot be held liable for delivery delays that are out of our control.

Terms & Conditions

  1. All our sizes are approximate.
  2. Aford Awards Ltd make every effort to ensure that your goods arrive with you within the specified delivery times by using our very reliable courier company's. However we can't take responsibility for late or failed deliveries arising from incorrect delivery details supplied by the customer. All deliveries must be signed for by the customer or by a person acting on behalf of the customer. All deliveries are made during normal business hours Monday to Friday. If there is no one at the delivery address during those hours a card will be left and this may delay the delivery of your order.
  3. We have one collection a day by our couriers. Any additional orders to the same address may leave on a different consignment. To avoid extra delivery charges please try and order all required goods at the same time.
  4. On engraved goods no responsibility can be taken by Aford Awards Ltd for any mistakes made by the purchaser in ordering their awards.
  5. On engraved products choices of font and layout are at the discretion of our experienced engravers.
  6. All quotes sent to customers are valid for 30 days from date on quotation. 

Delivery Costs

The delivery costs for the UK mainland are as follows: Our delivery charge for orders up to £90 is £7.95. (excludes Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland & IOW) Free delivery will apply to orders over £90 if delivered to a single UK mainland address. (excludes Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland & IOW) Free Delivery is applicable only for orders placed via the website, at the prices quoted on the website and paid for via the website at the time ordering. Customs policies vary from country to country. All applicable fees, taxes and duties are customer's responsibility.

Cancellation Policy

The customer has the right to return an order within 14 days of receipt. All goods must be returned in the same condition as they were received. Goods that have been engraved by Aford Awards Ltd or special order items which have been manufactured especially for a customer cannot be cancelled. All cancelled goods are returned at the customer's cost and we would recommend that you use a recorded delivery service.

Please notify us by email when you will be returning the goods. All returned goods should be delivered to our main address, Aford Awards Ltd, Grange House, Bearsted Green Business Centre, Bearsted, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 4DZ.

Your account will be refunded within 14 days of receiving the goods, but if the products are returned and are not in a condition where they can be re sold we will not be able to refund.

Returns

The customer has the right to return an order within 14 days of receipt. Aford Awards Ltd must be notified by e-mail of any damaged deliveries and missing as soon as possible, otherwise responsibility cannot be accepted for credit or replacement. Goods that have been engraved by Aford Awards Ltd, at the customer's request cannot be cancelled. All cancelled goods are returned at the customer's cost and we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service.

Please notify us by email when you will be returning the goods. All returned goods should be delivered to our main address, Aford Awards Ltd, Grange House, Bearsted Green Business Centre, Bearsted, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 4DZ.

If you decide you no longer need your goods they can be returned up to 14 days from the delivery date. This is only permitted if the items have not been engraved and are in resaleable condition. All returned items will be subject to a 20% restocking charge.

Privacy

No personal information that is given to us online and off line is sold, traded or given to any other company or party outside Aford Awards Ltd. All our customer information is gained by question forms as part of the buying process. All information received by us is used so we can give a higher level of customer service and process your order as efficiently and as quickly as possible. Under the UK Data Protection Act 1984, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access.

Complaints

If you wish to make a complaint about Aford Awards Ltd please email [email protected] and we will endeavour to respond within 24 hours. If you have any issue with any order which is urgent please call 01622 738711 during office hours.

Customer Service

Our office hours are 8.30am - 5pm Monday - Friday.

Payment on account

If you select to pay on account we must receive payment either before despatch or within 30 days of the invoice date if you open a credit account with us. Any payment not made within our strict 30 day credit agreement will be liable to a 5% monthly charge on the total of the outstanding invoice.

Statutory Rights

These Terms and Conditions do not affect any of your statutory rights.
