Both Spurs and Everton made their way into the FA Cup Semi Finals with convincing wins last night. Spurs beat Bolton at home and Everton beat Sunderland to set up a merseyside derby with Liverpool. Both matches will take place on the 14th and 15th April at Wembley and these matches will decide who will be in the final to play for the FA cup Trophy.

Rory took him to the number one spot ion world golf on Sunday after his great win in Florida. He won a fantastic Crystal Golf Award which I’m sure he will treasure for years to come. The Trophy is over 50cm tall as is a fully cut crystal worth around £10 000. This is not bad, but I’m sure he prefers the winners cheque! He now aims to keep the number one spot who he has one off English Golfer Luke Donald.

The 2012 Football League Cup Final was the final match of the 2011–12 Football League Cup, the 52nd season of the Football League Cup, a football competition for the 92 teams in the Premier League and the Football League. The match was contested by Cardiff City and Liverpool at Wembley Stadium in London on 26 February 2012. Gunnell started out in athletics with the Essex Ladies club as an accomplished long jumper and pentathlet, before turning to the sprints and hurdling.
Gunnell won the 400 m hurdles at the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona. She set the world record in the same event when she won gold in the 1993 World Championships. This record was broken by Kim Batten in 1995, but is still the UK record. Her defence of her Olympic title in Atlanta in 1996 was cut short, as she pulled up in one of her races, injured. This seemed a particularly cruel blow, as this race occurred on her 30th birthday.

The half marathon has been running for 25 years now, and the current course takes in much of the original course when the race was first run in the mid 1980s. Runners head out of Maidstone through Bearsted along the A20, before heading up through the village of Hollingbourne and then onto the Pilgrims Way, before heading back into Maidstone via Bearsted Green. Previous editions of the race have started and finished at Mote Park or Oakwood Park. The current race starts and finishes in Grove Green, with race HQ based at the nearby Vinters Valley Community School.

This weekend Mark Cavendish was crowed the World Champion Road Racer in Denmark. Supported by his team GB companions, Mark edged ahead of Australian Matt Goss, on the line to take the title. The course in Copenhagen covered 260km and suited Cavendish who becomes only the second British champion after Tom Simpson in 1965. This adds the title to 20 stage wins and the Tour De France and the green jersey.

Elizabeth "Beth" Kimberly Tweddle MBE (born 1 April 1985) is an English gymnast. Tweddle is a three time world champion having won the 2010 World Championships on the uneven bars, the 2009 World Championships on the floor and the 2006 World Championships on the uneven bars. Tweddle was the first gymnast from Britain ever to win a medal at the World and European Championships, and is considered to be the most successful British gymnast of all time. She is also a seven-time British National Champion, having won the title every consecutive year between 2001 and 2007.

As a Spurs fan this weekend was tough to take, but what makes it so much easier is that Arsenal also struggled against one of the Manchester sides. It seems that the prize of the Premiership Trophy is making some very rich men become involved in English Football. Manchester City are now looking like a team who could quite easily pick up the Premiership Trophy at the end of season, which is amazing considering where they were only 3 or 4 years ago!

Sebastian Vettel increased his strangle hold on the F1 world Championship yesterday with another victory. The Trophy he won looked great and was a sculpture of the outline of the race circuit which was made from chrome plated metal with inside of the circuit made from Perspex. The Base of the F1 Valencia Street Circuit Race is round and has the F1 logo printed on. Normally it uis down to the Race circuits to supply the Trophies for this event and I would say they did a fine job on finding a very unique and innovative award. I can imagine a lot of planning and design went into making this type of Award.

In their last few meetings Murray has beaten Gasquet and he beat him at Wimbledon in 2008 in a five set match.
